Painting and drawing have always played an important role in my life and I am on a constant journey of discovery.
My current work is mostly narrative/abstract. It is based on a range of ideas taken from places I have visited; things that I have seen; and objects that I have collected.
I dislike being stereotyped, and prefer experimenting with a wide range of different materials, but most often gravitate towards Acrylic Paint and Acrylic Ink
I enjoy working with a bright strong colour palette, and introducing interesting textures and collaged pieces into my work.
I have had my work exhibited in various galleries, and “Open” exhibitions throughout the North Wales, Oswestry and Chester areas.
I have participated over several years in the North Wales “Helfa Gelf” – Open Studios/Art Trail.
And am based at the Rhydymyn Valley, Nature Reserve, alongside several other local artists known as FORVART. (ie. Friends Of Rhydymwyn Valley Artists )…
