..I am an amateur Welsh artist living in Mynydd Isa. I have always loved art and, since retiring, I am able to pursue my passion for painting.
My work is displayed in locations around North Wales including. Two the Square Cafe Conwy & Bay Gallery, Colwyn Bay. My paintings have also been featured in several exhibitions in North Wales & Cheshire.
I love new challenges and 2016 was an excellent year for me. I had the opportunity to paint many commissions of diverse subjects : property portraits, pet portraits, landscapes & sea scapes. In addition, a restaurant approached me & commissioned me to paint several scenic views for their function room, I was also commissioned to paint from several holiday photographs for a memory wall! I was asked to create a canal side scene for a retirement present..the list goes on!
I look forward to what 2017 may bring!
I have always had an interest in lots of different art and crafts, particularly drawing, painting, sculpting, and I especially enjoy working with wire and metals, which led me to making jewellery items, tiaras and fascinators, but my main interest now is felting both wet felting and needle felting.Read More

I am a self-taught marbler, starting in the mid-seventies when I helped to establish a new bookbinding business and we needed a supply of decorated papers so that a range of stationery – notebooks and photo albums could be developed.
Having attended Marblers’ Gatherings in San Francisco and Gatlingburg Tennessee my style has developed through the intervening years.
Suminagashi marbling brought the discovery of the Oriental artistic philosophy which melds the artist with process.
In recent years I have had the opportunity to develop my experience as teacher, working one-to-one in my own studio and running workshops at The Grange in Shropshire.
I also undertake very short runs of developmental marbling – working with a set of colours on the size and different colours of paper to create an evolving run for small private press editions.
