I’m Sarah Lewis, otherwise known as ShoreLark.
My background is in Marine Biology and I’ve worked with the RSPB, counting and monitoring birds like curlew, lapwing and little terns, all of which are sadly in decline. I’m never happier than when I’m on the beach and I love to turn driftwood, shells and pebbles into whales, birds, ships and shapes.
Sometimes I make them on the beach and leave them for people to find……
I am also proud to be a member of ForvART – Friends of Rhydymwyn Valley ARTISTS. The seven of us took part in Helfa Gelf for the first time as a group in September 2015 at Rhydymwyn Nature Reserve. We had so much fun that we’re going to do it again in 2016. Do come and see us.
