I am a printmaker and mixed media artist who around five years ago just happened to fall in love with working in the ancient medium of wax …I love the versatility of working in this medium and also solving the many technical challenges that it presents. I have travelled every year to the USA for the last five years to share and improve my skills with some of the incredibly talented encaustic artists over there.
I have recently moved to a new studio and look forward to welcoming you there. The studio is part of a redevelopment of a historic former railway building on the disused Dyserth to Prestatyn line which is now a walkway. Named YShed the main building also features a heritage display and information area telling of the lead mines and the railway built to service it. There is a car park, cafe, internal lift, craft display cabinets and toilets on site. Access by car is from Meliden or you can come by foot or cycle along the walkway. YShed is situated about halfway between Dyserth and Prestatyn.
